Official pre-order / ship time thread

This kind of thread is inevitable, so I don't feel so bad about creating it :)

Pre-ordered mine from Best Buy this morning. Pre-order availability time is Oct. 11th, with ETA of 10/13 to 10/19.

How is Tiger Direct / Amazon treating you guys?
 
ordered from amazon, "Delivery estimate: We'll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date for this item."
 
Spoke to Adorama rep when I ordered. I was told they expected delivery to their store on the 9th of October. Give them a day or so turn around, I expect, before it is actually on the way.
 
Think I got in too late, says mine's backordered. I ordered it around 9PM EST from Adorama. I'm definitely calling to speak with a rep, but now I think I've missed all the initial pre-orders, damn.

Phew, looks like I reacted too quickly. I called and a friendly rep at Adorama confirmed what I thought, when I decided to think rationally - the email is a generic email sent out by the system, when they don't have the item in stock. She says that they so far have 161 pre-orders and I fall within that amount. She didn't however say if they had more or not.

Est. delivery date Oct. 9th, but it might be a couple days earlier or it might be a couple days later.

Preorded from Circuit City 9/1 at 10am before backordered....but expected delivery date is 01/10.... hope thats an unofficial estimation
 
I just called Tiger Direct to confirm my order. They said they'd have the product in stock by Sept 9th. That would be awesome.

In addition to that September 19th delivery date for them, the CSR I spoke with (Joe was his name) said they were receiving 400 units and only have a back order list of 80. The people on the backorder list are those who have placed an order AND called in to the credit card processing side to verify. He said if your order page says "Backordered" you're good to go and will reveive in the first shippment.
