Odyssey7Q+ Special Promotion and other news

Very funny.

Seriously, we're just shaking the dust off the Odyssey7Q+ and you guys are speculating on us replacing it? Y'all complain about how slow we progress and then you think we're gonna pull a rabbit out of our hats at that speed? Seriously?

Nah, probably not. I wouldn't complain if you did though. :)

I'm trying to figure out exactly how I would set up my FS700
with it,.....it's like having an iPad (ok maybe an iPad mini) for
a monitor. And while having that size of a monitor is freakin sweet
when setting up interviews so you can get everything just right, its
not as nice when running around outside. But still pretty neat with
all the new options for all kinds of cameras. It's like the low budget
Codex.

I like either mounting the Odyssey in the back or hanging it inverted on the dumb side so that it snugs in close to the camera.

I purchased a 7Q+ as a replacement for a 7Q. I was happy for the two free SSDs. But now I hope the "deal" ends soon as it reduces the resale value of the 7Q by as much as $790.

I doubt it will end soon since they ship in the 7Q+ box. It would seems odd that they would end the deal when they may not have control over how many retail boxes their vendors still may have on the shelves with free SSDs in them...

Even if it reduces the value of a 7Q, you should still be able to get nearly the full $2300 for your 7Q if you have a FS RAW or other RAW upgrade to include and perhaps a $500 gift certificate to include as well (both from the loyalty program).

We have not set a date to end this promotion. It's not going to happen tomorrow, but I can't make any promises beyond that.
