Odyssey New Firmware 2015.8 - High Speed Apple ProRes and Color Vectorscope

Hello guys.
Last 6 months when I update the Odyssey to the new firmware, everytime I found that O7Qs playback mode becomes worse and worse with every new firmware. It was shown in new lags, new breakdowns during playback, jittering. Every time first day after update I was dancing around Odyssey in attempts to find how to solve new playback issues. And every time I discovered different and very strange ways how to struggle with them (1. fast switching to Record Mode and back again to Playback, 2. Go to playback list and select/deselect the clip 3. Pull the cursor forward and back to the previous position 4. etc.)

This month there is a new firmware and what I see: Odyssey now have a lot of new very useful things (such as HS ProRes - it's really very cool!) ...but TOTALLY unable to playback all that was recorded!
It passed a week since I can't find the way how to struggle with this new problems: unstoppable jittering, dark screens, stops during playback with unable to play again without switching to REC menu and go back to PLAY, more and more.

Here is one of the examples:

Yesterday I was in situation when 30 persons of crew, director, clients and producer was watching all the day on the big director's TVLogic that was linked with O7Q how I'm struggling with playback issues on my Odyssey after EVERY take. I will not say what they told me when it becomes not funny.
What I can conclude - I have to go back to some previous firmware.

Mitch, what's going on with the playback last few firmware updates?

Reinstall the same update but this time delete the FW updates from the update folder not applicable to your Odyssey,
drag that folder to a freshly formatted drive.
Worked for me.

I was getting all sorts of crazy glitches on playback on set yesterday too. Just using 4kraw to 1080p prores 422. Happened at least a dozen times. Sometimes it was crazy colours, one time the top half of the screen was about 10 frames behind the bottom half of the screen (THAT was a wierd one,) pausey glitchey playback, the screen rolling about 1/4 to the right of where it should be, so the far right of frame is on the far left of screen.

90% of the time I just had to switch back to record mode and then back into playback mode again and it came right. The other couple of times I had to reboot entirely.
