How soon is very soon? Is mid-october still the plan? I guess I would've thought mid october was the 10th-20th but I suppose as long as it's not the last week in October one could conceivably consider it mid-October.
Jeez...I've been hearing this thing will be doing 4K compressed for what? 18 months now? What makes you think it's going to appear in mid Oct?

Here we go with the lawsuit lol. You got money to prosecute a legal case in whatever venue CD resides? Yeah? Well you have enough money to buy yourself an Epic because that's what that case will run you. Kinefinity does compressed 4k.This thought is creeping in to my mind. Is it even legal to sell something with a promise that it will "soon" have a certain feature (like 4K compressed here) and a year later... it doesn't have it? When is the line drawn? Is a refund even something we could think of? I mean, i really bought this thing to shoot 4K compressed because i thought it was coming soon, way back in April. I know a lot of you guys have had it over a year now.
I'm guessing there's no legal case because 4K Compressed is probably such a small percentage of what the entire product is supposed to do. I'm just unhaappy, as it's a LOT of money to spend on something missing a main feature. I just never expected to be here close to Nov. 2014 without it still.

All that aside we should freeze this thread because secrets will be revealed tomorrow. I have a feeling we will all be satisfied.
You might want to understand that I have a JD from Capital University lol. Class action or not someone has to be paid and a harm must be committed. Bunch of Nancy Graces on every forum geesh, but thanks for playing. You might want to do a little research on class action lawsuits and what they are for. (and how they work.)

No one is taking this on contingency buddy...Yeah I'd take your case for $4500 worth of damages lol. My retainer is 2500 and i'll eat that up filing your case...i'd be happy to take it and your money on a loser of a case. Nice obtuse little argument, you'd be better served to invest your 4500 into a camera that suits your needs now. You think you can convince a court that you've suffered present harm from future features with no firm dates??? And that you as a professional staked the success of your business on a device that couldn't deliver what you needed today? And you own a BMCC 2.5 telling me you've done it twice!!! Good luck with your class action, spend your $1.50 in damages wisely.Umm...Isn't that what contingency fee's are for? and I'm currently experiencing about $4500 worth of harm, but that would be determined by the court not you or me. ( But I'm sure you knew that as you have a JD from Capitol University. )

Only a camera nerd would believe he or fellow users would qualify as a class for yet to be delivered features. No attorney would look at this case bubby. You don't have grounds for a class action, I know wrapping your head around damages is tough...you can't learn it on Wikipedia bubby, but you read some of the Phillip Morris filings and see the standard needed to be part of "harmed" class. Again being obtuse will not help you in your argument, your just blowing frustrated camera gut smoke. You have no idea what a class action suit is, do you?
OK, thanks for the info.
