Odyssey 7q and the EDL feature

Hey all,
anyone used the EDL feature on the 7q? Just wondering how it works, and cant find any info on it...
where does the EDL record to and has anyone had any luck with it in any NLE's?

You need to offload your footage using the free CD ProRes Transfer Tool located on the Convergent Design website. This will generate the XML file with all of the reference info. It can be used in several NLEs as noted in the Odyssey manual.

Thanks Mitch, as always...i did have a look at the manual (but to be fair it was an old version on my iphone!)
Do you need to be recording a camera input to create the xml, and if so I am assuming it can't be 4k or UHD?

Yes you need a camera input and no, it works in all flavors of ProRes.

Sorry, you are mistaken. Multi-Stream Monitoring with switching, but not recording. Yet.
