NX1 Video Settings Test Results (4k)

Does the NX1 output 8bit or 10bit to an external recorder? And is it 4:2:2 or 4:2:0? I've seen both claims and have no way to test it myself.
 
Everything I've seen points to 420, 8 bit, but in a 422 file.

EOSHD has some posts and tests with 4K recording; conclusion seems to be a tiny bit cleaner in the shadows, biggest benefit is going straight to prores. (And editready brings my mac to its knees so I could see the benefit of this…)
 
Unfortunately the banding would lead me to believe it might still be 420, but the significant reduction in macroblocking is worth it to me.
 
At $1k I'd seriously telling most people to go for it with their nx1. The higher bitrate alone could be worth it. It is for me, that's why I have not sold my shogun yet. Also I'm interested to hear people's experiences with it.
Like, I'm having issues with the micro HDMI port being very finicky, wondering if that's just my unit.
