Don't know if this has been posted before but her is the 7D being used on the Numb3rs set. Interesting is that it is basically a naked 7D...seems all the fancy bling isn't necessary all the time

As for why its just a naked 7D...
I think the shots were also heavy on the post work with all kinds of crap and adjustments, so they didnt need the best picture.

lol. Yeah, he wanted a worse image. Besides how do rails, ff, mattebox and such make the image better?

I got a nice SD handycam they could have used and gotten an even worse image

Sounds like they used lensbabies or a samyang 8mm to produce an effect.

Personally I dont like the effect lensbaby produces.

Actually this video and a whole host of others (of this show) have been out for the last few months. That particular scene was to be distorted (I'm thinking fisheye maybe???) but if you look at the other scene they are using the camera in a more traditional way.
