Hello,
Sorry if this is a repeated thread, but I couldn't find it in a short search.
I have worked successfully in the past with mxf files using a g5 and FCP6.
But I am now working on my own earlier model system (g4 dual 1 with FCP 5.0.4) and am running into issues.
I have shot footage on an HVX200 in 720p/24pn.
When I try to import P2 files into FCP, I get the following error:
"One or more P2 clips failed to import, probable incomplete or corrupt clips."
Additionally, with Easy Setup set to DVC PRO HD 720p, when opening the project I get the error:
"Codec not found. You may be using a compression type without the corresponding hardware card."
When trying to view clips on my G4, I hear audio but see no video.
My external drive is a G-Tech on FW800, so I don't think that is the issue.
Am I missing some codec? According to the Panasonic specs, 5.0.4 should be enough.
