edit: The issue is solved. It appears the camera didn't like cold weather conditions... or something. It works perfect now.

I would think that either the curtain shutter or (more probably) the mirror are not reaching their fully-retracted position. You'll probably have to send it in for repair (it should be under warranty, right?).
A way to see if this is the case is to put the camera on live view without a lens, so you can see the sensor, and any piece potentially obstructing it (again, look at the mirror: does it go up completely?). You might need to have another camera side-by-side to see any differences.
