Sack, you've quickly become my other favorite photographer around here, alongside Theodoris. I would say the best shots I've seen around here are Theodoris' bus/band series, your bird shot and this one above. Mozzarella Stick is simply amazing. Though his left cheek feels a little hot to me, the composition, color, texture is spot-on. Love it! Almost as much as your bird.

Give us more!

Thanks alvarez. I had just purchased an sb600 and was trying it off camera, so that right side is definitely way hot, I brought it back down as much as I could. I was just messing around as usual. As I said before, I take way more bad pictures then good ones, but I'm having a blast. I love digital, shoot 100 pictures and delete 99 of them. I'll post a few more after I "massage" them in ps.

well you got the look right, his lighting is also exceptional though, hard to match with just one sb600 but this is a good effort for sure.

Over processed images can get old fast but this one works for me. I think its all the metal and glass. I think you should call it "Mozzarella Slick"...
cheesy ;)

Here's some street shots i got the other night while walking home.

Kinda noisy, not as sharp as i'd like but it was pretty dark and i was shooting available light.

all shot with my 80-200 2.8 at ISO 800.

I like this one because it's a bit random, a friend getting her daughter's shoes on. And I'm loving textures. Nikon D80 - 50mm 1.8

Nice shots Moo, how do you like the 80-200 2.8? Is it definately a lense to have? Does it breath much (considering this lense for my D80 and to use with my Brevis 35mm adaptor)?

well first off i shoot with a Tokina version, I really like Tokina glass its the 2 ring ATX-pro II, picked it up for 40,000 yen. (about $400) its really nice, well built and works very well with my D200.

I just got my SGpro and i'm still experimenting with it. The focus throw is pretty short but i think it will be useable with practice. You'll definitely be able to get some cool shots. As for breathing? i haven't noticed it like i do with my 50 1.4

:) I was out shooting with just this lens this afternoon, i'll post some more later.

and if you want i can post a sample of it with the SGpro.

Those eyes are incredibly blue. Wow.

Andrew, it's me, I have been known to dabble in Photoshop.

But actually, those are very, very close to his eyes. For some reason, when we take pics, you cant see the lightness. I think it may be because I always shoot in poor and underlit situations.

Actually, the "bottle's eye view" his eyes are almost untouched I just added a tiny amount of their own color to boost it. But that's really how he looks.

Notice if you will that his eyes are still blue on blue. That means my son is a Fremin. How many of you can say that, hmmmm??????

Some more photos from my last trip from Bilbao to Portsmouth by ship.
These are taken with the d40 and 18-55 and 55-200vr lenses.
Some of the pgotos are heavily processed with the photomatix becouse I was going for a surrrealistic look.

Neighbor's dog, shot through a chain link fence. D80 with the 50mm 1.8. Cross processed and added a little texture and vignette.
