Best Female Action Performer of the Year

Over 200 films screened this weekend at the Action On Film Festival in Long Beach. Our DVX feature film, Vigilantes, was not only selected, but was also nominated for four awards, and 17 Year old Ashley Holtzclaw didn't let us go home empty handed, winning Best Female Action Performer of the Year... What a great honor to her especially being her first feature film and our first project.

Congratulations! No other forum has this many talented people. Hope Jarred doesn't start weeding out the talentless hacks or I'm going to be in big trouble.

WOW thats just incredible work. Although an actor (with talent obviously in this case)only performs as good as the director performs in my opinion - so an EXTRA well done

Thank you guys so much for the kind words. I appreciate all the advice and input regarding our project. It COULD NOT have happened without all you DVXers. I've got several projects in the works that will blow Vigilantes away, and I have NO desire whatsover to do the cinematography... When the time comes I'll be calling on the real DP from this site...

INSANITY... I'd be more than willing to send you another copy of the movie (Free of course) if you can't find yours. Just let me know.

I thought I heard you over there. LOL... We definetly have to hook up the next time i'm in town. Is your flick going to be showing anywhere else?
 
Don't know yet... its been submitted to a few more fests... just waiting to hear back... Give me a yell next time you're in town. for sure.

A big congratulations to Ashley, Trevor and everyone involved in Vigilantes!

We really enjoyed watching the film and it was a real pleasure to get to know Ashley and Allison (Ashley's mom).
