Cool photos ilauzirika! I like the HDR work when its for a surreal effect. Love the vastness of the ocean as well.

William, what is that second photo of? It almost looks like asphalt during a rainstorm or something! Nice work, I like the composition of both.

Andrew, the second photo is my jeep's rear window after a rainstorm. I turned it B/W because the sodium vapor lights it was under wasn't very flattering.

Two more of my son Aiden:

He is being held my my friend Andy. Andy just himself a DVX200b, and have some questions. I told him I would answer on one condition, take few pics with my son.

Andy's a good kid, and we learned a lot that day.

Pic one:

And pic two. I don't know why Adien looks so serious.

Nikon D70 Nicor 55 mm Prime, Apature almost 4 maybe a little higher, finally not so much DOF. Great glass.

Mildy tweaked in Photoshop, mostly desaturating the background. Hue and sat for the background, just to loose a little color The, it was standard Levels for overall contrast increase (that adjustment layer set to 50 or 60%, and just a very, very slight tough on his eyes. Most believe I twweak the hell out his eves, and don't realy. usually just a small color bump to get them from gray blue, to his more often than not, normal blues.

Enjoy!

I know this is huge, but it looks best this way. I don't do this often but I applied HDR to this one. Just thought it was interesting.

You guys are so lucky to be shooting right now. My DSLR is out for service. I woke up one morning and went to take pics and my sensor did not work anymore.

Currently my Nikon D70s is waiting for parts at Nikon. Luckily it was covered under warranty. ::Wipe the sweat off my head::

Cant wait to get shooting again.

Great self portrait Matt, very intense and the lighting is very cool. I can't look at it for more than five minutes because I keep wondering how much I'm gonna have to tip you to let me in the club! :)

Thanks Mino. It might look like subtle HDR, but it was actually pretty heavily used. I had 5 stops of latitude in there.

What happened to Matt's self-pic? That was wild looking (in a good way)! And I gotta find out how you did the rotoscope-like image. That rules and I've always wanted to know how to do that.

Thanks Mino.

Dan, I stupidly deleted it, I was trying to delete the cartoon one of my son because I had made a better one and deleted the wrong darn post.

lets try again:

I still haven't fixed the halos around my head, but meh, it was for fun anyhow. Amazing how curves can really effect the color intensity.
