Jeremy, I like #1 the best. The way the earth is all patchy and the way the hill? its on curves makes it look like a planet. I think of Early Settlers version of Mario Galaxy. That, and the colours rock.

Wow Jeremy. #2 is stunning.

Thanks. I have this obsession with America in decay and have an entire series I have been working on for about a year of just random images of America falling apart... I am at like 300 images thus far, I think... So anytime I get an opportunity to see something that just looks aged and falling apart then I need to document it.

The first looks like a very well caluculated landscape, nice.

Actually, I was just trying to prove with that shot that the 17-55 is a kick ass lens for landscape photography, contrary to popular opinion :)

I like that one though...

I have a bunch more than I need to post but I have been so busy lately that I just haven't gotten around to it.

There's no metadata because the images have been processed... I will check when I get home and find the RAW image... I am guessing it is an F/4, but I will check tonight for you

Hey Jeremy, what nice shots. They look like they were taken in the fall.

I especially like the first one, I think the wide angle really suits it.

The second pic is great too, but makes me feel lonely. Not sure why.

They were all taken a week ago Saturday in Asheville, NC. We got lost on this backroad where they closed the Blue Ridge Parkway and just kept driving for 2 hours into the middle of no where.

I think it's cool the second one had an emotion associated with it... I think that should be the goal of any photographer... Thanks for the feedback :)

Jeremy,
What (If any) program did you use to edit those? I have been playing with the Lightroom & Aperture demos and will decide soon...

On camera flash = BAD... but... it's all I have at the moment. I tried to damper the harsh shadows, and believe it or not, it did a LOT. But still, they're there.

My friends Daughter, Brooke.

I went over to their house last night for drinks, and Brooke was still awake when I got there. I pulled out the cam, took 5 quick shots, and 3 of them came out as good (or better) than this one. Photogenic to say the least.

I did clean up her complexion a bit, saturated the eyes and lips a tad, and enlarged the eye's just by about two pixels. No color enhancement on the eye's at all.:)

Ryan, that is one PHOTOGENIC little girl! :)

I hope you don't mind (I can delete it if you'd like), but on my monitor the pupils of her eyes looked a tad red so I wanted to try photoshop's red eye tool. What you see here is what happened.

Ya know what Larry... while I was in photoshop, I noticed the eye's and made a mental note to do that next.

Well, my "mental" notes don't stick very well on my hangover days (today), and I forgot. Looks much better your way, and I'll remember to fix it tomorrow before I send it to them.

Thanks for the heads up, and fix:thumbsup:

I like it stephen.
I don't know why but it remainds me of the giant statues of rapa nui.

I think the sculptor actually modeled on those and other statues. The fountain-sculpture is in two parts, and the other part has a lot of Thai-Buddhist influence on it. Probably because the fountain-sculpture is something like an anti-war memorial or something.
