Nikon on 7D Purple corner. How to solve?

Hi Everybody,

I'm using a 50mm Nikon on my 7D. I can somethimes see a purple corner on some objects.

Why and how to solve this ?

Hi, do you mean chromatic aberration? I assume you do, a purple fringing around objects right? It's inherent in the lens, all lenses do it to some degree, and it will be more or less noticeable depending on lighting conditions and aperture. Do you have any screen shots you could post to show how severe it is? Also, I'm no expert, but I think that's your problem.

It's called chromatic aberration, cheaper lenses tend to do this. I suggest doing the brick wall test with your lens to find the 'sweet spot' Basically the aperture that doesn't produce chromatic aberration badly or at all.
