Nikon DSLR recommendations

I'm looking forward to the new FX DSLRs from Nikon too, I've given up on shooting video on them, what I do hope for is for cleaner high ISO stills compared to what I'm currently getting from my D90.

One thing is for sure the replacement to the D700 & D3s is not going to be cheap!!
 
because it's a great camera and fully compatible with your lenses. x or not is a budget issue, x has more megapixels but the old one is still "good enough" and the pro features are pretty much exactly the same. i haven't shot with the x but it's what i hear from everywhere.
