Aww, haha -- musicals would be very very interesting. No matter how bad the movies got, someone will either be singing well, or poorly. So either way it would be funny.

It would be funny, right up to film #5. Then I am sure my ears would begin to bleed. :D

As was said about Noir and Comedy, if one has always wanted to make a Musical, one could do so in any genre...

Okay -- true that Thartley, and also true Callaghan.

Except I'm not so sure about a noir musical...haha, that could be a good idea...

Superhero

YES!!! GENIUS, PURE GENIUS!!!

It could be a noir superhero if you want, or a comedic superhero a dramatic superhero or even a romantic superhero.

I like the superhero concept!!!!

Faster than the new server...

More powerful that a clunk sound...

Able to speak his mind at the time he types...

"Look! Up in the sky!"
"It's a bird!"
"It's a plane!"
"It's - DVXUserMAN!!"

I'm game.

If you guys wind up picking musical I swear I will shoot myself.
It'll wind up being the first musical snuff film.

The last thing I (or most people I would guess) want to do is sit through 60+ musical short films. Then again, it would probably be more managable if we did musical, probably have something like 3 or 4 entries.

ANYTHING BUT DOCUMENTARIES, I really like the idea of a Film Noire or Superhero. Come on, a Superhero could you imagine how much fun we would have with that ?

The only thing I would add about a possible Super-Fest...

I think we would have to go for more of a cliffhanger ending.
I am getting the feeling that telling an entire superhero story
(in all its epic goodness) in an under-ten-minute film would be
a losing battle against the forces of evil.

I'm fine with superhero, but would like them to lean toward the
old "To Be Continued..." ending.

Superhero is f*kn' brilliant, mang! Yes!

SUPER-FEST is a good f*kn name too, Callaghan F*kn' Films! I may even enter if you guys do this. hmmmm-f*kn'-mmmm...
