New video made with fs100 -- skiing

WOW!!! That is great! Outstanding work. I am blown away. What stabilizer did you shoot with, and how did you keep from going over the edge of the jumps on all of those shot where you follow the action up the ramps?

haha thanks man! im using a glidecam 4000 pro and its easy when ive been filming skiing with a glidecam for 2+ years...my 20 years of ski experience helps too.

Awesome stuff! Really enjoyed the cut easy to watch from beginning
to end, kept my interest.

Looking to put the finishing touches on my skateboard doc. for my friend.
Got a couple more shots to get including the final V.O.

Using a similar setup to say the least. Tokina 11-16 and a Glidecam HD4000
for most of the work.

Thought id add some more details, shot were 1080p60 either conformed to 24 or dropped the 60p into a 24 timline. shot with Gencolor 2 and used a LCW fader ND mk2 with a tokina 11-16.

Superb stuff. You must have a heck of a right arm... ;-)

Haha yes, it got pretty sore that day. Whats nice about using a glide cam and skiing is that the longest you have to hold it is about a minute or two, then you're either at a break in the run or at the bottom. But then do 2min on 3-4min off for 5 hrs, it gets sore haha

Absolutely great, gotta look into that Glidecam 4000, surprised that the wind didn't interfere with your shooting.

It's only 10% tool and 90% talent, I know how hard operating a Glidecam 4000 can be, and you did it while hurtling down the mountain. Good work!

That was terrific, the more action cinematography I see, the more convinced I am that WIDE angle lenses close-up are the most engaging way to shoot action.

Woo woo!

Wild skiing and you made the footage smooooth.

Man, take a bow.

You deserve it.

Thanks.

Be well.
