The cineZEN cineGLIDE™ by cineZEN USA.

We are first and foremost, dedicated to customer satisfaction and are launching our flagship product as a cinema “slider” called the cineZen cineGlide®. This is the first bearing based slider system on the market to offer critical adjustment of the bearings for minimal to zero binding, which means smooth shots, the first time.

Our bearing options include a ball bearing option and a quiet unique custom smooth linear bearing system. Another unique system will be our low weight/high strength aluminum rails to dramatically reduce weight.

cineZEN is a small team of filmmakers, designers, and creative professionals with an interest and passion for film, gear and all the aspects of how it can benefit production.

cineZEN is about making quality professional products. Each product we create was started on paper as a sketch and through production was touched by a collaborative team of designers, engineers, machinists, etc.

our policy at cineZEN is very specifically, ZEN-like. Our approach as we grow, will be to extend certain offers for student filmmakers, create special projects and workshops, and offer gear at minimal to no cost for meaningful, life important programming. For projects such as this, we are open to speaking about offering our time, energy, and equipment to benefit you.

If you are interested in our products view the beta site at www.cinezenusa.com (the site is currently under construction and not accepting orders at this tme)

For now, email us at sales@cinezenusa.com and I'll add you to our NO OBLIGATION list and will email you an offer when we are ready. The first production run should be under way soon. Within the next few weeks, there will be a complete blog with specifics on how to pre-order. Thanks again for your inquiry.

Best of luck shooting.

P.S. We are well underway on our cineZEN CAGE system which will be in production soon. Please find us on facebook and add us as a friend. We will be choosing an award winner for a free cineZEN cineGLIDE™ unit from our facebook page very soon.

Regarding the random misc text in our DSLR packages page: It was a good question? My web designer no doubt used stock text from another site to fill space. I'll have him remove that ASAP. Like I stated however the site is in beta testing mode using stock text in those areas.

The pics you see are of the cage system currently in development. The site will rap to completion very soon.

Thank you to all who took the time to review our posting. First I would like to say that I understand when in forums there is some feedback and cold text that could be read as non constructive and I want to speak out in advance and let the users of DVX User forum know I am an individual who has created this company to offer an affordable solution for others in the industry and student filmmakers alike.

I know not everyone will be interested in this product but have spent the last 3 years designing this product and have really put my soul into all efforts. As a company, we hope you will help us grow over the next coming months and we hope the users will support us throughout. Of course when new products come on the market, there are lots of questions. We are still in our early stages of sales, but the prototypes, designs, etc have been completed and we are well underway to production. There are several other products on the way, and we will no doubt be planning on offering nothing less than high quality affordable equipment. Please sign up now at our facebook page if you are interested in winning a complete 36" slider unit. We will notify the individual winner in the coming months.

Based on the previous questions, I've responded below:

Our system is obviously similar to any slider system on the market today in some basic sense, and being a linear bearing based system, there will be similarity to other companies, designs etc but in no way do we think our system is inferior to any other and in fact we would test it against any system out there.

The difference in our system in comparison to some others, is it is NOT a one piece design housing. Aluminum can flex and critical tolerances are important (especially for long term investment) and bearings need to be adjusted on all professional linear systems, so why would a slider be any different than industrial usage linear systems. Our "pillow block" bearing holders are free (bolted with adjustment) from the top plate and have 16 adjustable set screws (just in case you are in extreme heat or cold, etc) so there is virtually zero binding and always smooth shots. I worked hand in hand with an engineer throughout the process to make sure the system was not only adequate but the best on the market.

The system is less cost than most systems I know of and I highly doubt any other company is using the same manufacturer as us. I personally designed the system based on a need and look that I desired and what I thought was a commercial enough look. I'm a designer (CAD) and filmmaker by trade. The manufacturing (CNC) company cutting our material is based in the USA, (as is all of our products down to the rails and bearings) which is why I doubt any other film company is using our manufacturing plant (most outsource to China), especially companies already out of the US (not accusing any companies of this, but majority of manufacturing takes place outside the US).

Our promise is to use USA based manufacturing and keep it as affordable as possible. The price will be far less than the company mentioned in the other posts (based on todays rates). I'm happy to discuss the options and specifics anytime personally via email. My email is sales@cinezenusa.com

Highly recommend your web designer puts something besides black behind the actual shots (3d mockups or otherwise) of your products. Dark grey & grey with black shadows over black isn't doing your product any justice...a simple light grey background on the photo or a gradient on the cart photo itself with a lighter background on the lightbox/popup/expanded photo would be my recommendation (gradient for the in-page photo is just if he's overly concerned about aesthetics still.)

Might have overlooked it but nowhere could I find stats on this slider. You mentioned above something about a 36" slider. Is that the model that goes for $595?

I second this, it may seem like too much contrast, at first, to have photos with a white/lighter background on top of a primarily black website, but I it will look good.

Thanks again for the input on the site design. In fact, I have notified my web programmer and he is establishing an interface on the back-end for us to edit our own images and headers.

We will be using a light grey / gradient for the images in the product sections and large display views.

Thanks to all who offered feedback. We really appreciate it.
