I disagree, it makes face colours pastel-like and i hate it cause it looks like this postprocessing effect to smoothen out macroblocks from codecs,hard to describe it but highlights are muddy.Its better not to mess with pic style too much,just contrast 2 down just to give slight more area to expose ,then you can move gamma down a bit in postprocessing if its overexposed.
Accepting color grading better is up to the codec then colorspace.
 
I would recommend the new Technicolor Picture Style when it actually comes out.

In the meantime, Neutral with Contrast and Sharpness dialed all the way down, Saturation and Hue in their normal setting (or a notch or two down on the saturation - if you are that kind of image-maker).
This will give you a maximum of latitude without distorting the color curves so much there is no way to recover.
 
Thanks. I'll try it out. Any news on when that technicolor one is going to come out. Is there a link or something that talks about it?
