Kudos to Jarred!
I think Panasonic should put him on a retainer as a consultant as well as underwrite the costs of the site and his time.
This has been an invaluable resource for ongoing knowledge on all aspects of the use of this particular camera and the greater arena of the creative process.

I think the moment I accept a dime from Panasonic the site would change... I would hafta start censoring some of the stuff here and making "problems" disappear... look at the BS that is happening over at 2-pop.

I like not being "restricted", but still having some great panasonic reps like Jan C. come by every once in awhile and give some help. Thats what it's all about :)

DVXuser.com is for the Users, not the Makers :)

I'm very new to the forums and have found tons of info. I come here almost exclusively for info on videography in general. 2-pop was where I would troll through aimlessly, a good source also. I don't own a DVX 'yet' but will be ordering one hopefully today or monday and that decision has been reinforced because of this site. Thanks Jarred for all the hard work and thanks to all the regulars that keep the helpful info and ideas flowing. I look forward to 'hanging out' more when i get the dvx and all the endless miscellaneous accessories...

I can't find a specific link on the Panasonic site to get the free software for buying the DVX. How do I get that?

This hopefully will address your question and the other folks on the Magic Bullet software. Hopefullly you purchased from an authorized reseller, if not you are out of luck. Go back to the authorized source and ask for the software. They will in turn ask their Panasonic person and in turn we will ship to cover the situation. Your invoice must be dated July 1 or later.

HAHA, I didn't realize we were talking about the Magic Bullet software. I just heard, "I didn't get any software with my DVX" and jumped on the band wagon. I was about 2 months early on that promotion.:P
