Thanks for the kind words guys! ITs been alot of work but all of you fantastic members make it well worth the time invested.

As for Panasonic's support, I dont think we will ever get it, because we dont really fit into thier marketing plans, And Panasonic Canada doesnt like me much because I tell canadians to buy from the states. But Panasonic USA (most specifically Jan C.) takes time to come when she can to answer some questions from time to time, which is great.

I think we are doing just fine here however, we have alot of little companies giving us support and being somewhat "on our own" lets us say what we want without me having to censor you guys like they do elsewhere.

That was one of the big reasons I came knockin' at the door of DVXUser.

2-Pop will censor or remove your posts any time they feel like it... which is often.

They cater to twelve year olds.

Sometimes it takesa nice bit of profanity to get the written word 'enunciated' properly. Some people like to say that "people who use curse words can't think of a more intelligent word to use" and I say "That is abso-****in-lutely correct."

The DVXUser forum doesn't fit into Panasonic's marketing plans? HUH?

This forum is what convinced me to pester my cameraman until he bought the Precious. We have learned more about videography in six months here than all of our previous time working with cameras like the XL1.

Thanks Speedbump :) I can say the same, and we have Gurus here like Barry Green who we should be paying $500 an hour to teach us like he does for free. :)

yeah we actually had a somewhat underground meeting at the Hilton during Nab.. I didnt post it anywhere so wasnt expecting much. thanks again Lil Red for setting that up. Next year we should make a larger pressence :)
