New high speed UHS-I SDHC cards for GH1 or GH13?

Does anyone know if the new high speed UHS-I SDHC, recently released by Toshiba, Panasonic and Sundisk, can be used with the GH1 or GH13?
What is currently the highest speed SDHC card that the GH1 or GH13 can take?

while all was limited exactly by card speed, which speed limited by controller - nobody knews before any tests ...

I recently got a 32GB Sandisk Extreme Pro 45MB/s UHS-1 SDHC card. I benchmarked it on the built-in SD card reader of my HP Pavilion Elite HPE Intel i7 workstation and tried it out on my GH1 with my 75Mbps Peak Performance Patch. I then compared its performance to a 16GB Sandisk Extreme 30MB/s Class 10 SDHC card.

Verdict: On my equipment, the 32GB Sandisk Extreme Pro UHS-1 was no faster than the 16GB Sandisk Extreme Class 10 SD card.

:lipsrseal Ok, but the OP question remains, which I will rephrase:

I'm thinking that the OP wasn't asking about the 45MB/s SDHC UHS-I cards, but rather the much faster 95mbps read, 80mbps write SDHC UHS-I cards. And the OP wasn't asking about SD card reader performance; the OP was most likely trying to learn if these babies can *reliably* write GH13 1080p high bitrate video, or not. Do these cards poop out after a few seconds? Or do they just keep going as their advertised bit rates imply?

And has anyone out there actually tested a variety of GH13 settings with the much faster 95mbps read, 80mbps write SDHC UHS-I cards? If so, what happened?

How far can we *reliably* push the hack with these cards?

Lpowell, could you confirm if your tests were about write speed or read speed.

I am guessing that write speed is much more critical to most of us, and I also realise that the SD writer in the GH1 will have a bottleneck itself, but it would be good to know. If it writes faster at all, it's worth getting over the 30MB/s I guess.

I tested sustained read and write speed, comparing the 45MB/s Sandisk 32GB with a 30MB/s Sandisk 16GB SD card. Since then I've used both cards interchangeably in numerous hack tests and video shoots, and haven't noticed any significant difference in reliability. These are the cards I use for production work with my 100Mbps Max Latitude Patch

I recently got a 32GB Sandisk Extreme Pro 45MB/s UHS-1 SDHC card. I benchmarked it

i also benchmarked this same sd card with my internal sd card read and i did not get the advertised up to 45MB/s either

with crystaldiskmark it gave 27MB/s read and 22MB/s write
with H2testw 1.4 it gave 20MB/s read and 15MB/s write (for reference my crappy lexar professional class 10 only got 7MB/s read and write with this utility - with this lexar card my hacked gh1 with high reliability 44Mbit/s patch sometimes gives me an error , that i why i upgraded to sandisk extreme)
