and correct me if I'm posting this in the wrong place. Some friends of mine recommended I join up and I'm still getting the lay of the land.
I'm a San Francisco based Sound Designer/Editor/Mixer looking to pick up/help out/collaborate on a project or three. I have my own studio with one of the facilities here in town which provides me with a huge sound effects library, FTP storage, and the latest and greatest Pro Tools HD but business is slow and I'm looking for any excuse to make use of all my toys. My personal web site is in the works at the moment - coincidentally so is the company's - so in the meantime I've posted some samples here - www.behance.net/ewreimers.
I'd really appreciate any advice anyone might have for me in getting started and utilizing these forums and communities.
