I did several tests of the GH3 video, and there is always extreme jitter/shudder while panning or any movement, really. It doesn't matter if it's slow or fast panning, whether on a tripod with the OIS off, or handheld with the OIS on, even at super-wide 12mm using native lumix 12-35 lens. I can see the jitter on the lcd as I film, when I play it back on the GH3, and of course on the computer. I used all default settings just as the camera was set at the factory, except I selected MOV 24P 50Mbps. I didn't change any other settings, or do anything else - just wanted to test it with factory settings. There was plenty of light. I did tests both indoor and outdoor with various detail levels in the scenery I filmed. All of them have the same extreme level of jitter while panning. If the camera is still, without moving, there is no jitter. I uploaded one brief test to vimeo to illustrate the problem:

I'm curious to find out what the source of this is jitter is. I have searched around, and I see the jitter mentioned on pv and an old thread regarding the GH2 here on dvxuser. However, I have not seen any resolution to that and there seems to be no consensus. Any ideas?
