In fact, K5 firmware could be more interesting :-)

well we still love the swivel/art. screen and G2 would be welcome addition to the hacked family. Just out of curiosity Ptool didn't load the new bin body firmware. but heres the file

but i'm not sure all manual controls are there like ISO will be possible...

it should be capable of 1080p as far as the venus engine HD II goes....

but does the G2 show the same vertical banding as the GH1 ?

I agree that K5 firmware will be very interesting. However, adding manual controls to the G2 is a huge improvement. Also 3rd party battery support would be nice. Just curious if you still plan to add 3rd party battery support for future hacks? Or has an agreement been worked out?

I don't have any "agreement". :-) So, no problems with this.

Sorry to bug you but have you had the chance to look at the new G2 firmware? Just curious if there has been any progress on a hack for the G2 or is that not a priority right now? Do you have a G2 or do you need more donations to get one?

I got a headache trying to understand what's changes for the G2 :(
I see the manual movie but the bitrate can be increased like the GH1 or GF1?
 
G2 patches are identical to GF1.
Only battery patch is not ported yet (due to very significant changes in battery related part).

Do you have a newer GF1 or GH1 that is not hackable? Are you in need of that? Just curious if you can leverage the new G2 firmware to figure out how to update the unhackable cameras?

It might be nice to see a list of what cameras you do have and whether they are in a hackable state or not.
