download, then de-saturate this footage in your NLE and you can pass this off as anything Blackmagic can offer. imo. really impressed

I would like to see a camera that doesn't exhibit aliasing on roof tiles on Youtube. I downloaded the original Paris footage from Vimeo - and the 4K footage was beautiful without any aliasing in a 4k AE project - but when resized 50% in a 1080P project AE's rather poor downscaling kicked in. Tried both bilinear and bicubic resampling. Conclusion: I'm quite impressed by the GH4!

Did you watch it in 4K? I thought it was pretty clean... and the lack of moire was impressive.

On my 2.5k monitor the 4k images from this cam are quite impressive. It appears that the GH4's image will be quite satisfactory. Cheers, Pete

Wow, I downloaded the full 4K file and played it back on my 2.5K monitor. Looks incredible! Very impressive, highly detailed images. I didn't see any moire or aliasing (though admittedly I didn't watch it on a 4K monitor which would show the full quality of the images, both the good and the bad).
Like with any modern camera, the footage can look amazing or awful. It all depends on the shooter. Clearly, this was shot by someone that knows how to get good images out of the GH4. I'm still drooling...

They probably should have applied a LUT to the Alexa footage before posting the comparison video, no?
