New DVX Package/Rebate

Hi,

Then you should use the form that is on line and when you send in the date on your invoice and your serial number will determine the rebate and what is sent.

Best,

Jan

Hi Sharkey,

Yes I am, the Rebate folks will look at your serial number to see if you need the Book and extras, and then your purchase date for witch rebate you qualify for.

Best,

Jan

Hi Derrick,

I trust you registered? They should send it out pretty quickly. I would think you would have it by the end of next week.

Best,

Jan

Whats great about instant HD.... well I use it on almost every 16:9 job now to upres nle cropped footage to true 16:9 (results are as crystal as the original image) still not sure this can really be used for quality HD.... but anyway back to my point whats great about instand HD is: When you get the version for premiere you also get a version for fcp on mac as well. So if you run a pc system and mac system with diff software you dont need to repurchase.

Strange... Bought one from EVS on June 6... When I fill in my info on the website I was directed to, it says my purchase date is outside the dates of the rebate.

Jan, quick question if it's not a bother:

I hear from time to time that the book and software will be sent ASAP once I registered at the rebate site, even if the rebate check (like any rebate) is delayed a little. That's fine with me, I can wait for the check, but I'm anxious to get the extras.

Anyway, when I check the site for my status, it lists two confirmation numbers (I searched using only my name and zip code). One number is for the $400 rebate, and it now says "Check in Progress." The second one is for a rebate of "$0.00" and that one says "We have processed the request but not yet printed the check."

I assume the "$0.00" rebate this is this third-party rebate system's way of refering to the DVX book and software (right?).

I wouldn't even ask, but I registered two weeks ago, and given the due haste in which the book and software have been reported to arrive, I was a little worried. Should I expect the extras soon? Or does "not yet printed the check" mean that it hasn't been processed yet. It almost looks like I might get the rebate before the extras...

I'm not complaining, I'm just a little confused. Can you clear this up for me?

Many thanks. :-)
