New 5600mah DVXuser Batteries now shipping.

I got my Batteries and T-Shirt today and I am extremely happy with the battery life. Thanx so much Jarred and DVXuser.com Now it's time to get busy with my new DVX.
 
Hi Jarred did u get my email? just want to check if my battery was sent - not sure how long it's meant to take but i think it's been 3+ weeks now.

Yes Justin, it was shipped awhile ago via EMS, since your in Australia though It might take a couple more days to get there.
 
Got mine yesterday.

First battery lasted from 3:30 to 8:45 right out of the mail with LCD on!

Turned camera on withe LCD open inserted fully charged second battery when I left this AM at 9:30 and that ***** was still running when I got home at 2:30 and died around 3:30 --- 6 hours. Yowza Yowza Yowza!

Hmmm ... now let's see what happens if I put one in my mouth.

Hey Jarred.

Batts and T-Shirt Rock. I'm shooting for a 72 hour film contest on Saturday and will be wearing the T while I'm using the batteries.

Best thing about the T -- now I can finally sleep with my DVX.

Q: How long do the batteries need to charge for a full charge? (if you happen to know how long the charge time is for the stock battery is that would be cool too) Haven't seen this posetd anywhere.

How long did it take for yours to arrive? I ordered one on June 30th and still haven't gotten it, and I'm in the US. I'm sure its on the way, but any ETA info is always good.

This reminds me of a little story from my childhood. Everybody knows about Hot Wheels, right? Remember the Sizzlers cars from HotWheels that had the little motor and a rechargable cell? To power them back up you used the "Juice Machine". This gas pump lookin' device connected to the little cars via a small 'phono plug' kinduva connection and had 3 or 4 D cell batteries inside of it.

Now, I wondered if this thing would act like a 9 volt against my tongue-- adventurous kid as I was-- so I stuck the metal end into my mouth to see if I'd get a 'buzz'. Did I mention that I had some metal and wire dental work on either side of my mouth to 'space saver' between molars. They'd been there so long I almost forgot about them. That was until a blue flash errupted from my mouth along with, I swear, an arcing sound and the smell of ozone. Scared the fun out of me right away and thank God it didn't get caught in the wires! The adrenalin rush afterwards was at least some concession to the whole ordeal.

Bottom line is, this was 6 volts of almost no amperage. I don't think anyone wants to find out what might happen with a 5600mAh batterie inside their mouth, metal work or not.

I ordered mine on June 30th. Assuming it was shipped on one of the last couple of Fridays,
how long does stuff usually take from Vancouver to LA?
I'm thinking extra customs security, etc. is adding delivery time to everything.

Yes.. it takes 5-10 days, so orders placed on the 1st where not shipped till the following week (it was canada day 1st, july4th on monday. So you should be getting them tuesday or wed.
 
Is there a way to check on an order? I bought 2 on 7/7. and was wondering if it was lost in the mail or something (bad address, you know, the usuall).
