New 5600mah DVXuser Batteries now shipping.

just got the new batt and put it to work right away.
i noticed my camera gets really warm, has anyone else encountered this?
let me know please.
 
Over 4hrs with the LCD open. That's incredible! The LCD drains batts like HorseFilms drains a keg. :)

I want one. Hey, my birthday was Saturday, it's not too late for a birthday present. hehehehe

really? thats cool.. I did them myself, usually Kai does them but he was off getting married or something like that when I needed them done so I just whipped something up quick.

when you guys were testing the new batteries(5600) did you notice the camera getting pretty warm?
i shot with the new battery yesterday(mainly all handheld) and noticed my camera getting warm, any thoughts?

The cells give out the same Volts as the OEM cells, The camera generates heat normally. It shouldnt get hotter than if you used the stock cell.
 
Hey everyone, this is my first post on this forum and I have to say I love this place and I had to order the 2 Battery and T-Shirt deal. I am new to the DVX100A in fact I have not received it yet, but this forum was instrumental in helping me decide on my purchase and i would like to thank you all for that. I Orderd mine from B&H and it should be here by the 31st and I'm excited. I thought that the extra battery and tapes came directly from my dealer until I read a thread about it here and I need hi capacity batteries soon so I elected to buy here and I think it is the best offer around.

What an awesome battery, Jarred!! Just ordered one today (Thursday). Too broke to buy 2 at once, but that's okay. Would you know what the "guesstimate" ETA for an order to be sent out tomorrow (Friday) to California?

I just received my DVX today and I must say that I am truly amazed with this camera. Can't wait to get the long life batteries so I can have some real fun.
 
Is there a way to find out the status of the order?, I ordered mine on the 28th and was just wondering :)

Hey Jarred!

After reading the entire battery thread I discovered this battery will have ABOUT 5 hours of power, Jarred ships batteries twice a week (unless he's on a job) and anyone NOT allowing AT LEAST 3 weeks for delivery is going to be disappointed.

What I DIDN'T see posted anywhere was whether or not the battery will fit my AG-DVC7.

To find out for sure I ordered one a few weeks ago. It arrived a few minutes ago.

Unfortunately, it DOES NOT fit an AG-DVC7.

Now we know.

Thanks for a prompt and trouble free shipment. I will be returning it to you for a refund.
