I loaded Bootcamp and NeoScene 2.5 on my 8 core MacPro Nehalem.

I have some 720.60p footage, and tried it out.

Given I'm a Mac person, can I ask how to import multiple mts files? You can use the FILE/Open clip command but that just opens the one clip and doesn't import it into a Bin.

How do I select and open multiple clips and import them into the project?

And where are the transitions accessed? I can use a default, but can't find more for testing.

Beyond that, it is RT at 720/60p for the most part.

No preset for anything 24p unfortunately.

Anyone that can help, thanks on these two issues to get me going.

Same deal... double click the bin navigate to the files on the card.. or (launches Edius 5).. Right-click (dunno on mac) under "root" and select "Open Folder" then Navigate to the "stream" folder on your card.... (assuming you are using HMC.. hehe). That will import the entire stream folder.

I figured it, although titling was a little confusing

This is an impressive effort.

I did a quick down and dirty edit of native 720/60p footage with some simple dissolves and a few filters to assess rendering, and it worked well. Straight cuts work fine, as do most simple transitions.

Some occasional slight stutters.

Export to AVCHD mts file. burned to a DVD5 and it played well on our blu ray set top

just tried neo 2 booster..works great with best quality avchd files...3 video and 2 audio tracks, color correction and vitascene filter...no problems at all ...now have to wait for edius 6 or upgrade for edius 5...
my specs:
3.0 intel quad core
4gb ram
2x1tb raid 0
nvidia 9800 gts
firecoder blu

I got delivery of the booster yesterday .

All I can say is no more transposing for me.

And this is on a amd 2*2.6 .
