ok guys I am getting a great deal on a 720P HDTV now here is my question
what would you do if you had a quadro fx card on your pc that does composite and also dvi outputs if you want to hook it up to the hdtv which has composite and hdmi and vga conccections, what is the best way to go here? for the best resolution for 720 footage? I know you can go hdmi to dvi, coposite to compostite or dvi to vga, so whats the best solution guys thanks a lot

i have found that dvi to vga gives me the best quality for using my computer on the television.

I have connected my computer via dvi to vga and also via dvi to hdmi (just to give me the option of future usage)

I use the computer mainly as a media centre and it works great. HD-DVDs look awesome!

I'm running a geforce 8800 and a sony bravia.

Hope this helps?

I use DVI to HDMI converter with a good quality HDMI cable. Of course that doesn't give you audio though.

I got the DVI to HDMI converter so I can use a HDMI cable for other things (dvd player) otherwise a DVI to HDMI cable would be a bit of a waste for me.

I think composite is still an analogue signal so you don't want that.
