need help with wide angle lenses

So i have a redrock m2 35mm adapter, not a 7D but this forum seems to get alot more traffic than the 35mm adapter forum.

My main problem is that im looking for a wide angle lens (28mm or less) that has a large rear element, because ive tried a couple different lenses (20mm and 28mm) and get intense vignette because their rear elements are very small.

I'm looking into a 24mm 2.8, rear element seems wide enough from pictures, but thats a risk and its 100+ dollars

Other options are samyang 18-28 4-4.5, sigma 21-35 3.5-4.2, nikon 28-85 3.5-4.5 and vivitar 24-70 3.8-4.8 all of these are under 60-70 bucks.

any opinions? could use as much help as possible, thanks

Which 24mm 2.8 fixed are you looking at? That's bound to have better optics than a zoom, and is worth the extra $50-75 IMO. You can usually move the camera closer or farther away in that range of lens :)

the 24mm 2.8 is nikon, so yeah really legit.

Its not the zoom im exactly wanting, im just wanting more of a budget wide angle that wont give me and vignetting, and the zooms tend to have much larger rear elements than the fixed lenses. If anybody knows anything about the lenses i listed, thatd be great.
