GH2 Need help with lenses for my GH2

I just sold my D200 to buy a GH2 because I do more video than stills now, I am trying to decide if I should sell my lenses that I used for my Nikon and buy new ones that are good for video or just get an adapter and keep the ones I already own. Any help would be greatly appreciated I have done a lot of research and I am still a bit lost on which way to go for the lens. So the 2 current ones I have are (Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED-IF AF-S VR DX Zoom-Nikkor and a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM AF Standard zoom lens.

So my question is should I get a converter and use these for video with my GH2 or should I sell them and get a different one. likewise has anyone had any experience shooting video with these if they are any good and if not what direction should I go in to start.

Thanks for all the help!

Do these lenses have manual aperture controls? If not, you may have to find an adaptor that gives you control of the aperture. To my knowledge there isn't a simple solution.
I use Nikon lenses for my GH2... I have a 50mm 1.4 and an 85mm 1.4, also a Sigma 15mm 180 fisheye... However, I also have an amazing Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED. http://www.dpreview.com/products/nikon/lenses/nikon_24-70_2p8g/statistics
Which I cannot use.
The 28-70 ED-IF version I could use though.

The Sigma looks promising, since its about 1 stop faster then the Panasonic kit lens. But both of these are very close to the standard lenses the Panay already comes with... and not much faster. With the native lenses you gain image stabilization and automatic controls.
I'd try to sell these and get a nice "native" collection... or get some nice 24mm/28mm/35mm Nikon primes.
Just REMEMBER, they must have manual aperture controls.

you can get adaptors that will control the aperture for all nikon g lenses without aperture ring - check out novoflex

Instead of the Sigma I recommend the Tokina 28-70 f2.6-2.8 AT-X Pro I. It's been said it contains the Angenieux formula (their 28-70 version costs US$1,200+). They've been selling like hotcakes on eBay lately

So my best options would be to sell my lenses and get some fixed aperture native lenses? if this is the best route to go, do you have some suggestions of some good lenses to start with? I will have about 1k to spend on lenses.

Thanks!

daihard - "To my knowledge there isn't a simple solution." Basically, I was weighing that option out as well... But since twentytwenty, didn't have a lens that surpasses the kit lens of the GH2 in regards to light and mm range... its just not worth the extra money for a non native lens.
Although, yes the expensive adaptors are a route one could go.

@twentytwenty
Bang for buck, Nikon primes are really nice glass to have. However, if I was starting off with a basic video kit for the GH2. I would go for the Panay 20mm and the 14-140mm video lens (even the kit 14-42 is quite nice). Your basically covering most of your general video needs with that setup.
Then when you know the type of shooting style you prefer... then some nice prime lenses are great to have... Voigtlander and the new M. Zuiko 12 mm f/2.0 Lenses look really promising.
