Hey everyone,
I'm new around here and need some advice. I've been saving up for camera equipment for awhile now and finally decided to start building up my arsenal. I ended up getting the t2i so I would have more money for glass and other future-proof equipment. I wanted to get a fast prime so I did a little research and ended up going with the popular sigma f/1.4 30mm lens (I also got a zoom lens but that hasn't arrived yet). I found a used sigma 30mm on ebay for a VERY good price and everything about the lens is in mint condition. The only problem with the purchase was my fault... I ended up getting the Nikon mount instead of the Canon.
Instead of trying to return the lens, I figure I might as well invest the money I saved into a Nikon to EOS adapter. This is where I'm going to need a little advice... The lens doesn't have any manual aperture controls that I know of
I always shoot footage using manual modes so the loss of camera interaction doesn't bother me; however, I'm new to the HDSLR world and a little confused about how the f-stop is going to be adjusted. Are there any mounts that will allow me to change this or am I going to be stuck wide open??? Any advice on this one would be awesome.
