i came in a bit late i think. the link does not show in the latest news and when I search for it, i couldn't find.
Do you know what it may be called? perhaps I am looking for the wrong thing.
The plugin is a bit of a let down. Crashes and is slow. Still better off transcoding to ProRes.
Not used Avid but I have made timecode window burns with Premiere Pro CS5 right off the native media on the card. Loved it. Oh how I wish a 64 bit FCP 8 was the way Apple would have went. Sorry way off topic.Hey - semi-off-topic (but related): can anyone comment on the workflow of AVCCAM/AVCHD with AVID, as compared to FCP?
I'm thinking of switching.
Thx
I downloaded the plug in for FCP7 and it works, but sluggishly. I have a Mac tower 8-core 2.8, but then FCP is only 32 bit, so I can't view externally to another monitor. I have to use the canvas for playback. Any ideas on how to speed things up?
