My reel, Skiing!

Good luck with the sponsorship! I really liked the time lapse at the end with the tilt up, cool stuff.
Good video all up!

Sick dude.

I've been skiing for 22 years.. and this is refreshing to see. Most of these are boarding now... nice to see some skiers representing.

Where'd you shoot a lot of this? Looks really nice.

that was nice.

everything looked good...like loki said it was cool seeing skiiers.

good luck with getting sponsors. i would say that was a pretty solid demo.

I loved it. I loved the repeated attempts to get it right on the railing, then we see it finally work out. I loved the big jump in 3 or 4 cuts, ending with the landing through the branches of the trees. Just really nice aesthetics. And, being a skiier also, big appreciation from me.

I'm a bit new to shooting on the level with dolly tracks and such... excuse me if I sound noobie, can I assume you had an anamorphic lens adapter for many of those shots? Anything I can glean on how it looks like it does. Great job!

I wonder if we know some of the same people in truckee... small town...

Thanks! No, I dont have an anamorphic adapter, I do have a fisheye that I use a lot for follows (makes it look smoother and helps keep the rider in the shot), so thats probably what you are talking about.

But I know a ton of people in Truckee, I grew up there so I'm sure we have some friends in common!

I love shooting rails.

Nice work. How did the zip-line shots turn out? Wobbly?

p.a.h.

Yeah, the zipline stuff didnt turn out that great, but it was the first time I tried it and didnt really get to mess with it much. I think tightening the cable would help a bit and I think the bearings need to be broken in a little.
