My New Lense CHOICE

I dont get it

Google images will quickly show that the tokina wide zooms are the most suitable for video use

the other lenses have stupid little focus wheels

what an images search wont show you is that the tokina have proper stops unlike the other two

Tokina 11-16 and the EFS 17-55IS rocks

Tokina 11-16 and the EFS 17-55IS rocks

I fall in the category of owning both if these lenses and find them both to be amazing. If you can swing the price by both. If not the 17-55 is one of the most versatile lenses that never leaves my camera bag.

The Tamron 17-50VC seems to Work Awsome ..Since My real reason is Video it works Great. Now What Filters are you Using with your Tokina?

I own the Tonika and Tamron mentioned here, just picked them up yesterday and they both look amazing, 11mm, oh boy does that pull in everthing, lol. I need some longer options now, but I'll use the kit lens until then.

I've got the tokina. Saving for the tamron or canon. How's focusing on the tamron? I tried a non-vc and it felt super short. Of course the canon doesn't have a long throw either
