And I can personally recommend: these earplugs
That price is for a box of 200 pairs, and they're washable once they get a bit "used" and wash up pretty well.
Hey Rick...so I see that you moved into my old place. Uh...actually....I don't think I can tell you (on this forum) what that sound is, but I can tell you that my wife saw her with her girl friend and...well...that's that. (BTW...I'm not joking) (as in...that REALLY happened to me in my last apt...that's why I own a house now....so...I can't just move out now that my neighbors TOTALLY drive me nuts....so...congrats on the new place!)
My sympathies on your noisy upstairs neighbor predicament... I lived in a duplex that had off street parking, a washer/dryer in the unit, a rennovated kitchen, and very nice hardwood floors, and it was AWESOME until the upstairs neighbors moved in about 2 weeks later - with their two year old who loves playing with Legos.
Now, I'm all for kids enjoying Lego kits; hell, I owned two HUGE tupperware bins full of 'em as a kid... but waking up to an avalanche of Lego-on-hardwood at 6 AM on a Saturday blows. Waking up to that daily sucks worse. After 11 1/2 long months of that two year old Legomaniac living upstairs, I physically cringe at the sound of a large batch of Legos being shifted.
AT first I thought it was shot on a GH13 due to the sharpness but then I read that you used a 5d with a 24mm 1.4 lens. The image quality looks amazing, nothing short of spectacular. Whatever you used to compose your shots ( if anything ) made it look fantastic.
Second this is a great story and very well acted. Something that could definitely become a web series, great job!
