Hey all. Just wanted to share my July 4th 2011 video. In case anyone is interested I shot it with the 7d and only a Sigma 30mm 1.4 lens. The locations you'll see in the video are all So Cal. (Science Center, Getty, Griffith Observatory and Disneyland) Editing in Adobe Premiere (first time trying out Premiere in years)

Thanks for taking a look.

Nice!

But please remember, the general discussion area is not the appropriate place to submit footage. I will move this to the 7D footage section for you.

Excellent work. Look into "Warp Stabilizer" effect in After Effects CS5.5. Works wonders when shooting handheld!

Cool thanks for the comment. I'll check it out.

I actually didn't care much that there is some camera shake, this wasn't really meant to be any big video in the first place, I was just shooting while having an enjoyable weekend with my girlfriend and her niece who was visiting so shooting footage was just a byproduct of us just enjoying the day.

Cool. Where is that? I can't find it. I never go there but am always on the 7d forums.
Look at the top (above the stickies), you'll see sub-sections of the 7D/t2i/etc (APS-C) section that say "footage", "lenses", etc. All appropriate discussion should go in the proper section..

@ Hawk. Those are actually all the shots I have minus 1.

I spent the rest of the time shooting the fireworks (experimenting) using the rapid shutter taking still pictures. I'm going to post up my test for that in about 1/2 hour. It's kind of like using timelapse photography but with rapid shutter. So basically shooting uncompressed stills at whatever it gets (I think people mentioned 18 fps)

There had been other tests done by people on DVXuser so I decided to try it on something with a lot of motion such as these fireworks.

Here's the high speed shutter still pics test I did. Watch it full screen. I uploaded in HD at 1280 x 720 24fps
