Music video shot in Victoria canada on canon t2i

Loved it!

A couple of shots in there that seemed a little over-exposed (blown highlights), but that was a fun ride!

And y'all need to stop posting these things... second music video today that's cost me money on iTunes...

Thanks for the feedback
A few shots on the chairs I was shooting almost directly into the sun
There's clipping for sure, but clipping is not always a bad thing?

Not necessarily, though I think it's much easier to get away with that in film than it is with video. Shots like the one at 1:27, shooting toward the light source and resulting in a washed-out picture, can be good in the right situation. I think it works here, very well. The shot at 2:44 is more of what I was talking about.

Again, I did specify "for my tastes". I find that the T2i meters hot, so I usually take it back a notch from what the camera wants.

That's just one bit of critique in a video that was truly enjoyable to watch. I also love that you didn't go with any extreme color grading... it stays bright and cheery along with the feel of the music, which is even more entertaining considering the lyrics!

that bike shot does bug me actually. shot at high noon on a busy road with no time to bring up the fill light.
So I had to let those highlights clip more than I would have liked?
Only shot that got color graded was the raining shot, because it was shot at sunset and was really warm, and looked beautiful.
But it didn't quite seem to look realistic, and why it would be raining on a warm summer day? so we just cooled it down a bit
everything else is in camera
