**Music Video** Come check this out

I think the concern that everyone has with this video is the track is mad fast. The beats are begging for some crazy action. Maybe next time you get a track this fast paced you can get the talent to do something else then rap to the cam with there lackies behind them. Come up with a concept not just a typical rap video but a concept. Check out kid cudi's new vid

I'm not sayin go crazy like that, but have an idea of what the song LOOKS like to you.
In the end you still gotta work with the boys from the dirty south and we all no they gotta look gangsta or it ain't real. Duval in tha house

Agreed. It feels like something off of BET Uncut, because the concept is severely lacking.

Personally, I don't know many 'hip hop connoisseurs' (myself being one) who enjoy grainy, amateurish looking footage. I don't want to seem mean, but maybe instead of worrying about putting out two videos a week, maybe you should put all that polish into one?

Give it another pass over and let the track move you to the edit, not the other way around. And throw in some fly B-Roll. Get some nortenos rollin on deuces. Get some hood action in there to back up his weak performance.

Make something that could be viewed as mediocre undeniably successful. I see the potential there, but I don't feel like you're putting it all on the table.

Second edit was much better... but I think the main problem was in your composition. I think you misunderstood some of the people who said it looks "flat" - you responded and said you made an obvious choice with the grading/look but what they actually meant was that there is no depth in the images - everyone is standing the same distance from the camera and there are no strong lines in the images. You need to work on blocking out the talent and using levels to create leading lines in the composition. Use the rule of thirds, diagonals in the background and selective focus to ensure the talent stands out in every shot.
