Most amazing video ever...

[armisiano]

This is one of the single most amazing things I've ever seen. So incredibly creative and SO grand in scale.

[Ryan Patrick O'Hara]

Yes it is. WOW.

[ilauzirika]

Lots of paint there, good Idea.

[c.g._eads]

A little too creepy for my taste. but definitely original.

[Spartacus]

AMAZING!
Thanks for sharing, I often cycle by his great Berlin wall painting and wondered who painted this...

Can some animation crack explain to me how this was done?
Did he really paint this frame by frame?
He must have painted half Buenes Aires white...!

[Kevin Lee]

Very cool, no idea how this is accomplished. I enjoyed the Q-bert thing.

[David Jimerson]

Looks like a lot of Photoshop. Cool idea, though.

[Simon Höfer]

Photoshop? I thought it was real. I think it is simply painted with chalk. But you never know

[David Jimerson]

Some of it looks pretty digital, and in some places, it looks like the aftermath of a clone brush. IMO, anyway.

[ugafan]

here is his website.

[ConspiracyPenguin]

That's pretty crazy.

[Thomas J. O'Hara]

that was awesome!

it looked like he was just painting a white base with black lines, and then for each frame he would paint over what he previously did. You can see the faint outlines when he paints over his stuff, or when the walls get dirtier the white paint becomes more gray. then he takes a picture of each frame. TA DA!

[Adam J McKay]

I am pretty sure this guy is legit. What an amazing video.

[Drew Ott]

Must have taken some time. I don't think any of it is digital.

It's certainly impressive, but I really wish he shot the stills from a tripod or something because the jitter is a little distracting.

[Jack Daniel Stanley]

wow great find, thanks for posting it

Well, for me it adds something to the video.

I think it adds a great texture to it all, makes it more real and tangible, less 'produced'.

that's it, that was my feeling.

[snowleopard]

My impression is that it's all with chalk, no post digital animation. Any way you slice it, it's impressive, to say the least.

[ryan brown]

It's been posted here BEFORE, but never to that extent. I remember thinking it was crazy ambitious before, and that was just the end of it!

Definitely real, by the way.
