T2i More T2i skiing footage. Shot with glidecam and Tokina 11-16

Just finished another video, I'm just gonna post it here instead of making a new thread. I actually put this together for a company that sponsors this 14 year old skier I ride with. Let me know what you think of this too.

I liked the second video better but the first wasn't bad either.
As for the glidecam I would only comment that you seem to be over-controlling the rig which is why it seems to lose stability in some shots.
I think you're aiming the camera a little too vigorously.
You might also try to get closer to your subject if possible, so as to get them into the frame more.
Apart from that the video was good.

Nice quality, the only thing I think would have been cool is to mix in some pov shots to give the viewer a greater feeling of actually being there ( not to much, just a little) but honestly nice footage.

Thanks for the feedback, could elaborate on what you mean by "over-controlling" and "aiming too vigorously"?

The best glidecam shots/videos I've seen have smaller movements and seem to be pointed at the general direction of the skier/skater rather than aiming at them directly. They seem smoother because of this.
Let me show you what I've seen: Here and Here.

So in summary your video seems a little too "excited" and maybe too shaky as a result.
You can see in the examples how the operator allows their subject to move around in the frame rather than always keep them in the center.
And for the times they do keep their subject in the center of the frame they do it with a gentle touch rather than a hard shove, if you know what I mean :)

Loved both of them, great job! There were a few spots where it seemed like it got a little shakes but for the most part I like how much movement there is. That kid kills! Couldn't tell what that first trick off the rail was, misty? Idk I don't ski park much... rad dude!
