It sounds as though other people are experiencing strangeness importing P2. I'm surprised nobody suggested getting the latest Panasonic driver for Mac to the last caller. Or does that even make a difference?
I have the latest driver from a couple of weeks ago. When I mount my camera to the Mac, I get one icon for (i think it's called) "unnamed drive".
but I have had problems seeing and importing all my files from both cards, so this leads me to this question...
With 2 P2 cards, should I see 1 drive per P2 card on the desktop or 1 total? I have at times seen two and at that time everything imported fine. I have also seen 1 drive and everything imported fine. But I have also seen one drive but only 1 P2 appeared to have mounted and half of my files were missing. Remounting the camera eventually fixed this and I found the missing files.
The other weird thing is when only 1 card mounted there were different filenames than when both cards mounted. I suspect this has something to do with spanning two cards with one file (?).
Can somebody shed light on the above for me?
thanks,
Td
