T2i Monitor?

hey I paid Twice as much for my 7D so there better be some crap features with T2i just so that I can feel it was worth it!

L-O-L. Oh Rakesh, you so funny. :D

@Brandon - Not to sound preachy, but such is life, man. We can ***** about the shortcomings/problems/deficiencies of any cam/tech/thing - not doing anybody any favors - or we can work around them, learn to avoid them, and hopefully just get the job done. IMHO, you'll be much better off learning the craft if you have to start from the bottom (i.e. one-man band, bare bones rig, crappy video output, etc) than if you had access to everything right away. It's like you gotta learn how to drive before you go racing, know what I mean? Besides, for only $800, you're getting a great little DSLR that can shoot great video (with a little know-how).

@everyone else - Guys, we've all expressed our frustrations with (our) cams/tech at one time or another, and we were also all beginners at one point, so let's cut the guy some slack... no point in adding fuel to the fire... unless you're Michael Bay. :)

Sorry but I remember the days of sd video assist and I was sooooooooo happy to have that! Listen Canon has a VDSLR that does do 1080 out during recording it's called the 7D. You can't fault a company or call them "stupid" for trying to get you to buy their higher costing product can you?

Oh yeah! Us guys who came from the film camera world remember. If your camera had video assist, at all, it would set you back a few grand and most early models were black and white and flickered like crazy because of the shutter.

Good photographers learned to use a light meter and trust it.
