has anybody tried this SD and HDV firewire to computer monitor solutions

Hm,
so we now have DV Monitor HD, Scopebox HD and this kid for the Mac?
The multi-camera recording feature would be awesome!

I think this is the only option that does and supports HDV monitoring right now for the mac.
Has anyone downloaded the 14 day trial and tested it out?

I will give it a shot. have an upcoming studio shoot with an A1 and M2 adapter and would like a D2D option. Will post results when done...

how do you guys deal with the inherent lag in video monitoring over firewire? i see the benefits of having a waveform and vectorscope on your laptop, even for field work, but as a straight monitor, i find the delay in picture too distracting for me, even in static studio setups. curious as to when/where/how you guys use these software monitors.
