Monitor for T2I

Hey guys I'm thinking of investing in an external monitor to use with my T2I. I really like the SmallHD DP6 but it's kinda pricey for me so I was wondering if you all had any other suggestions, Thanks!

Also wanted to throw out there that I do have magic lantern on my camera and have also been looking at the DP4, the problem with that is its smaller and really an EVF and not a nice sized monitor.

The price of the little Marshall has dropped drastically. It's really a pretty nice monitor, and now they sell 'em with canon DSLR battery plates. You have to program one of the function buttons to switch aspect ratio, since it changes when you hit record on the T2i.

I've tried a few of the repurposed car-LCD models and you really have to watch for dicey viewing angles, use histograms to check exposure, etc. I had one with a terrible view angle that really messed up some test shots. A monitor with blue-only will let you calibrate it if you have a source for color bars - for DSLR shooting I check the Marshall with a "real" video camera or with my editing setup regularly. It holds its calibration settings very well and rarely needs a tweak.

Ebay has a few for under $200....But like all things you get what you pay for. Im currently using a 7'' Haier non-hd monitor, it cost me $45 (craigslist) and for that price I like it, but it is no where near as nice as a hd monitor designed for cameras.
