ha, i was looking through some footage, and i was deletng it, and i delted this one clip, and b4 i deleted it, i had to take a pic of it, its pure money shot!!

Why exactly is it a 'money' shot? It's a shot of an out of focus fence right? or am i missing something?
 
I dont know why people always make these fence shots. It is nothing new and not innovative at all. I have seen it here on the board many times. DOF shots just to show DOF should not be the way to go.
 
To me, a money shot is something that a person can look at and get an instant reaction to. This doesn't do it. The focus should be on creating an interesting shot through framing, and then use the technical stuff to help achieve a mood.

I know that this is a technical forum, but if you have no subject in your frame, then DOF, CC, and exposure don't mean anything.
 
Unless, of course, the fence represents how como's sister is trapped in her game. Maybe she doesnt want to play baseball and her parents are forcing her? The chain link fence is the symbol of being trapped in that field.
 
For what its worth I think its a decent looking frame.

Sure, not exactly groundbreaking - but it's just a frame.
In the right context it could make a nice looking shot.
