Hey all! My first post sharing footage.

Shot on thursday, edited on a Friday, and run on Saturday with other projects on the same schedule. But I really liked this one! 2 HPX170's 720/24PN on with fisheye, and a 7D. Tried to make footage look similar in grade which is difficult with the dynamic range of the 7D being so superior. I'm sure you can tell which shots are 7D :) Overall I thought it looked pretty good and fairly well shot.

Thoughts specifically on the mixed footage?

First off: LOVE the quote from the last guy. Get him in to speak to your the youth group! :)

I thought the whole piece looked great. The differences between the two cameras were there, but livable. I've had the same issues mixing my XhA1 and 7d footage. It's sometimes painful to dumb down the 7D's gorgeous color to get it to match better. Well done.

Thanks!

Yeah the 7D shots looked so good without color correction, it kinda pained me to "dumb them down" a smidge. The HPX170 shots did look real good though, and would look even better if I didn't have to try and match them to the 7D.

It looked pretty good technically. A bit of feedback for the host would be to not chew gum while interviewing, as it looks a bit too "casual". I like how the 7D stuff looked, and gives it a bit of a candid feel when you cut away from the HPX.
