Well i'm still have a couple of things to shoot.. yesterday I did a pretty cool looking pull away shot under the Dames point bridge and man it looks nice EXCEPT for the giant black dot on the lens(it was real windy). Thank god for radial blur :)

Hey Mike. I know it's a bit late in the game, but I'd like to offer some help in the VFX area if you need some. As you know, I'm no Mark Johnson, but with deadlines what they are I thought I'd offer anyways. I'm becoming an expert at removing things in scenes that are not supposed to be there. (Mics, pop cans, ME...ect). And I can muster a little FX. Maybe even just render time on 3ds.

Well finished shooting yesterday afternoon(20 DAYS). I've done most of the editing AND it turned out not at all what was originally planned... Rule one, try not to do a film on the fly I shot 2 tapes worth of film and I have a 2min 29 sec movie:) I ended up doing mostly a voice over, In the end. My family did great! I mean there no Hayden Christensens but hey :)

Here is what I hope to get out of my rushed wholly unoriginal movie:

(1)Feedback on the lighting and CC as you will notice I did different things to set a mood for each clip(maybe to much),in post and on camera(that thing has alot of buttons and settings and stuff)
(2)1 million dollars

I wanna do a comedy I have something totally disturbing in mind:) Bring back the women!.....wait, is my wife nearby.....just a sec....

Sorry to hear of your QT trouble. I hope that you are having better success today with that.

The tapes are special order from the "Frickin huge ass tape wharehouse"
(http://www.Frickinhugeasstapewharehouse.com) but you have to have the dv to hugeass tape adapter which of coarse is sold seperatly:(

as for QT it just sucks!:) the encoding is good but the qt playback washes out the colors.. tried it on My mac and pc's........... but alternate media players play it fine... I dont get it.. I'm ranting to much...

however I am done and uploaded and I got a good file size and pretty good compression.
 
ARRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I have banner envy...... my banner making dude has left me high and dry........ or maybe he is just making it extra AWESOME!!!!! hahahaha!
